Kelley has earned a reputation as a problem solver throughout the architectural design community in Kansas City. His background in working on numerous, high design structures gives him exceptional insight for new design challenges.
Kelley serves as Principal in Charge and Project Manager for the design of various facility types, including: corporate office buildings, sports facilities, museums, schools – both primary and secondary, churches, and parking structures. This experience includes the use of various construction materials, including: structural steel, masonry, wood, cast-in-place post tensioned concrete, and precast concrete structural systems. Kelley leads the Precast Concrete Design and Detailing group within SEA.
Kelley has also been involved in many renovation and restoration projects. Many of the projects have come from the SEA designs of a previous era; others from facilities that require a face lift or a change of use. Kelley has led the design effort on the renovation of structures originating as early as the 1870’s. He has a pulse on the ever changing world of structural design and its relationship to the period architecture.
Kelley has design experience with all of the materials from the early masonry, wood framing, and cast iron structures to the steel, concrete (conventional, pre-stressed, and post tensioned) and composite materials of today.
Kelley served eight years on the Board of Directors for ACEC Missouri, including tenure as Chairman. He also served as Missouri’s National Director. He is a professional member of the Precast Concrete Institute (PCI) and the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE). Kelley is licensed as a professional engineer in 12 states.
KRISHNA G. SAHA
Mr. Saha is a Principal at Structural Engineering Associates (SEA) and has over 30 years of varied structural engineering experience, including 28 years with SEA.
His experience includes design of new buildings; analysis, renovation, evaluation and seismic retrofit of existing buildings; research and development and field observation.
He has experience with a wide variety of structure types, including cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, structural steel, wood, aluminum and masonry. This experience has been applied to various structure types, including educational, office, commercial, hospitals, parking garages and community centers.
RALPH C. JONES
With over 30 years of experience in the engineering field, Ralph offers an expert approach to each project. His background in structural design, field observation, testing, building renovation, and structural investigations lends a unique perspective to any restoration, renovation, or special inspection project.
Ralph’s range of skills encompasses projects for universities, developers, property managers, and building and garage owners. From sealing stadium bleacher seating to restoring concrete slabs in a parking garage, each project is approached with individuality.
As Principal in Charge of restoration services, Ralph develops cost effective solutions for clients’ long-term budget and planning needs. For example, the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) has worked with Ralph for numerous years on an indefinitely delivery contract for facility restoration, maintenance, and annual structural inspections and testing.
This proactive yearly planning allows MU administrators the flexibility to utilize campus resources or acquire contractors’ services to execute necessary work. Ralph’s commitment to deliver creative, cost effective solutions to his clients helps them to be diligent and on budget in their ongoing facility maintenance efforts.
