SEA provided complete structural design services for the $80 million, 124,000 square foot life science building. This center provides state-of-the-art research and educational facilities where research programs employing cutting-edge technology take place side by side with instruction. A central location was created in the center to facilitate collaboration among faculty, staff and students from the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; the College of Arts and Science; the School of Medicine; the College of Human Environmental Sciences; the College of Veterinary Medicine; the College of Engineering; and the School of Nursing. The center houses 50 research laboratories, six computer laboratories, plant and insect growth facilities, small animal facilities and a 250-seat auditorium.
